He'd have liked to not pay attention to his surroundings, other than the stale bread and piss-poor ale he was like to get with his meager earnings, but the two men looking to brawl with each other and the woman they'd pushed into his side put an end to that hope. He glanced up at her, and nodded.
"I'm fine," he said. "Startled, aye, and thinking that mayhaps I should've gone on to another tavern," and his gaze cut to the two men for a second before he turned back to her, "but otherwise unharmed." He sighed. "Are you all right, though?"
